The paper take 2 x 330 MW limestone-gypsum wet flue gas desulfurization device of one coal-fired power plants in Ningxia province as the research object, theoretically analys the influences of the desulfurization efficiency. Rhrough running tests in the range of allowable safety which combined with the actual situation, data collection, analysis, synthetically obtain the reasonable control range of operation. Discussed the carbide slag as desulfurizer, optimization of thegypsum quality, cancel bypass problems and measures combined with the actual operation.The specific conclusions are as follows:As desulfurizer, Carbide slag has some advantages,for example quickly, control desulfurization efficiency in high concentration of SO2,low purchasing cost and so on.But it also has some defects such as the quickly and large variation of pH, the volatility efficiency, easy fouling and plugging in equipment, easy wear and tear, large maintenance cost. Adding wet milling system can diminish the particle size of the carbide slag, reduce wear and tear, enhance reaction, improve carbide slag reaction control.In the daily operation and management, the slurry quality control is the greatest contribution on improvement of gypsum quality.It is also one of the factors like the density of slurry, quality of Limestone, oxidation efficiency,pH value and so on, but it is the most direct influence on quality of gypsum.The test data shows when pH is between 5.1 and 5.4, comprehensive quality of gypsum is better.But the condition should meet the environmental requirements of the desulfurization efficiency.After canceling bypass, there is some problems in actual operation,like coal quality, the reliability of electrostatic precipitator,blockage of the GGH, booster fan system fault, spray pipe blockage accident, desulfurization equipment reliability and so on. In the desulfurization operation, it is need strengthen the communication with the power plant, requirement of controlling coal quality, improve the electrostatic precipitator reliability to ensure that the inlet flue gas parameters meet the design requirements. To improve the reliability of the desulfurization system, it is need to strengthen the maintenance of GGH and booster fan, improve the reliability of key equipment, optimize design and the control logic, strengthen the operation adjustment.
