In recent years, the industry of 3D printing is developing rapidly. It has been widely used in transportation, communications, medical, electronics, electrical appliances, toys, military equipment, industrial art(sculpture), building models, mechanical industry and other fields. The display of 3D printing clothing in Paris fashion week, it indicates that 3D printing technology will be into clothing industry. But the 3D printing clothing is made by plastic resin, not soft and breathable, only has the ornamental, does not exist taking value. It don’t meet the relevant standards of textiles and the requirements of the soft and comfort to the clothing, cannot be called a real sense of fashion. This article bases on 3D printing fabric that is made by the Tamicare company in the UK, using the method of 3D printing increase processing concept, exploring on the basis of the dissolve of cotton fiber to create 3D printing fabrics.In the paper, the method of single factor experiment was used to investigate the cotton fiber swelling and dissolving in NMMO solvent. The results showed that: less 80% of NMMO concentration, the cotton fiber were swelled without dissolved; in the 83%, 85%, 87% of NMMO concentration, the cotton fiber were dissolved; With the increase of NMMO concentration 、temperature and time, swelling degree of cotton fiber increased; in the 83%of NMMO concentration, the cotton fiber were swelled then dissolved; in the 87% of NMMO concentration,the cotton fiber were dissolved without swelled; in the 85% of NMMO concentration, the cotton fiber were dissolved in two informs; after treated by below 80% of NMMO concentration, the crystalline and chemical structure didn’t change; In the 85% of NMMO solution treatment after 1h,part of the cotton fiber crystalline structure of cellulose transform into cellulose II.On the basis of cotton fiber swelling and dissolving in NMMO solvent, the method of single factor experiment was used to investigate the influence of different process parameters on the fabric performance. The results showed that: cotton fabric consists of regenerated cellulose,complete cotton fiber and cotton fiber which was not completely dissolved; As the extension of processing time, fabric thickness firstly showed a trend of decrease then increase, breakingstrength showed a trend of increase, the breaking elongation first increased then decreased, fabric permeability decreased after the increased and decreased, fabric softness showed a trend of decrease;With the increase of coagulation bath temperature, fabric thickness and the mechanical properties of fabrics showed a trend of decrease, fabric permeability and softness showed a trend of increase; With the rise of plasticizing, fabric thickness didn’t change obviously after fall first,breaking strength declined, the breaking elongation showed a trend of increase, Fabric permeability decreases after the first increases, and the softness was on the raise; With the increase of bath ratio, regenerated cellulose distribute uniformity in fabrics surface, the change of the fabric thickness was small, the mechanical properties of fabric and permeability showed a trend of decrease, the softness of fabric showed a trend of decrease;With the increase of gram weight per unit area, the thickness and the mechanical properties of fabric showed a trend of increase, the permeability and softness showed a trend of decrease.In order to enhance the mechanical properties and permeability of fabrics, chemical fiber mixed with the cotton fiber to made the fabric. Firstly we explored the swelling and dissolving of the chemical fiber in the high concentration of NMMO solvent, then by changing the proportion of chemical fiber to explore its effect on the properties of fabrics. The results showed that: in the high concentration of NMMO solvent, polyester fibers were not swelled or dissolved; processing after3 h, the crystallization structure of polyester fibers did not change; In the high concentration of NMMO solvent, polyurethane fiber were swelled without dissolved; processing after 3h, the crystallization structure polyurethane fibers did not change, crystallization fell slightly;With the increase of the proportion of polyester fibers, the mechanical properties of fabrics firstly increased then decreased, and the permeability of fabric showed a trend of increase; With the increase of the proportion of polyurethane fiber, the breaking strength of the fabric firstly increased then decreased, the breaking elongation showed a trend of increase, the permeability of fabric firstly decreased then increased.
