Cotton fabrics have a wide range of applications in various fields because of their good air permeability and soft hand feel.However,the printing process of cotton fabrics causes waste of dyes and generation of dyeing wastewater due to the dyeing process and limitations of reaction ability.In view of the dyeing wastewater in the printing process,inkjet printing and structural color transfer printing were designed in this paper to realize the environmentally friendly printing of cotton fabrics.In the inkjet printing section,the cotton fabric modification and pretreatment process are combined to improve the ink utilization rate.In order to further reduce the discharge of printing wastewater,the organic dye is no longer used,and a one-dimensional photonic crystal(1DPC)with a beautiful color is prepared,and then the structural color is transferred to the cotton fabric by transfer to realize printing.The inkjet printing technology of reactive dyes has been rapidly developed in recent years due to its flexibility and simplicity,low equipment investment and high precision.More importantly,it is more environmentally friendly than traditional dyeing methods.However,because of the activity limitations of reactive dye inks and the hydrolysis of dyes,it is difficult to achieve high quality printing in deep colors.Due to the special requirements of the reactive dye ink for conductivity,viscosity,etc.,chemical reagents such as alkali can not be added to the ink.Therefore,to increase the fixing rate of the reactive dye,it is possible to start with the cotton fiber that reacts with it.In this paper,cotton fabrics were modified with2,3-epoxypropyltrimethylammonium chloride(GTA),and then printed on cotton fabrics using inkjet printing.During the experiment,the concentration of GTA and NaOH in the one-bath pretreatment and the optimum conditions of baking temperature and time were investigated.Because the cations contained in GTA reduce the electrostatic repulsion between the cotton fabric and the reactive dye,and the hydroxyl groups produced by the reaction of GTA with the cotton fabric increase the reactivity of the cotton fabric.Therefore,under the optimal conditions,the color depths(K/S)of magenta,cyan,yellow and black inks are 22.94,18.22,19.40 and 26.01,respectively,which is 128.7%,142.5%,80.9%and 38.1%higher than that of unmodified cotton fabrics.It is also apparent from the water washing and soaping residue collected during the experiment that this modification method reduces the concentration of the dye in the residual liquid.In addition,we also characterized the surface morphology and tear strength of cotton fibers before and after modification.The results showed that the modified cotton fibers did not cause obvious damage to cotton fabricsThe structural color is different from the color of the pigment,which is a color exhibited by interference,refraction,diffraction,and the like of light.Because of its beautiful color and never fade,it has received extensive attention.In this thesis,TiO2-SPS/PDAC-PMMA organic/inorganic hybrid one-dimensional photonic crystals were prepared by dip-coationg method.First,the layer thicknesses of the TiO2-SPS layer and the PDAC-PMMA layer under different cycle numbers were investigated.As the number of cycles increases,the layer thickness of both increases,and both can form a complete layer structure.Then,according to the cycle number,the thickness of the film was adjusted to prepare purple,green and red structural color films,and the relationship between different cycle times and incident angles and structural color was investigated.As the number of cycles increased,the reflectivity gradually increased.As the incident angle increases,the reflection peak gradually shifts blue.Then we used a binder to transfer the structural color film to the cotton fiber to realize the printing of the cotton fiber.In the process of dyeing cotton fibers on the structural color,no pigment is used,and the purpose of environmentally friendly printing is achieved.
