Energy-saving of oil refining enterprises of china has made great progress since the eighties of the last century. The crude distillation units play the first role in the refining enterprises. The energy consumption of furnaces is the major energy-consuming equipment in the crude distillation units, and their energy consumption with the ratio of the total energy consumption of the device is 80%-83%. To get low-power and high-efficiency, the key is to reduce fuel consumption and improve thermal efficiency of the heating furnaces.This paper takes West distillation unit of Liaohe Petrochemical Company as an example, introduces device profile, the nature of raw materials, process and heating furnaces. Through contrasting of the device and the energy consumption of domestic similar equipment, we can see that installation of comprehensive energy consumption is high, and the main reason is the high energy consumption of the furnaces system. This paper studies the effect of temperature of furnaces exhaust on the thermal efficiency, the air preheating system is been remarked, and a new furnace soot blowers is been adopted. Through researching the effect of tube arrangement layout on thermal efficiency, and re-arrangement the radiation tube structure of furnace, the support structure of the tube is from lower support formula change to upper hanging tubular. The oxygen content online detector and line pressure measurement are increased because this paper has research the effect of excess air ratio and furnace pressure on thermal efficiency. The burner is replaced by new HTB-YQ-250 burner, and the captive interlock system is increased in fuel gas system.Through technology optimization to heating furnace system, smoke exhaust temperature drop from 170 ℃ to 140 ℃, entering the radiation room air temperature increase from 90 ℃ to 135 ℃; Radiation heating furnace chamber temperature dropped about 100 ℃, convection room temperature drop about 50 ℃; Top pressure of heating furnace increased about-30 Pa, middle pressure increased about 50 Pa, lower pressure increased about-100 Pa. Thermal efficiency of atmospheric furnace increased from 91.10% to 91.89%, thermal efficiency of vacuum furnace increased from 85.04% to 91.65%, thermal efficiency of atmospheric and vacuum furnace achieves the design value 91%, obvious effect; the comprehensive energy consumption of device dropped from 12.12 kg/t to 10.43 kg/t, also reached the medium level in the domestic same type device. The optimization of the operation of the heating furnace, improve the heating furnace thermal efficiency, reduce the comprehensive energy consumption of the entire device, estimates it can save fuel costs 2.08 million yuan in all year.
