In the oil field development, paraffin deposition and scale buildup are common problem, due to with crude oil rising to the ground in the pipeline, the temperature and pressure continuing to lower and the gas precipitation, resulting in paraffin dissolved in crude oil continuously precipitated and crystallization. Paraffin deposited on the tubing and production equipment affect the normal production. To solve this problem, this paper investigative a new physical method of paraffin and scaling control: acoustic anti-paraffin and antiscale method. This method takes advantage of the physical properties of sound waves, mechanical effects, thermal effects, cavitation and other principles, can inhibit paraffin deposition in oil pipe wall, and even had to re-dissolve paraffin deposited in crude oil. This paper mainly through laboratory experiments, conducted ultrasonic melting wax experiments, low-frequency sound waves vibrating melting wax experiments. It was found that paraffin quickly dissolved into the diesel with the ultrasonic. Under normal temperature conditions,68 KHZ frequency, operating current of 2A under ultrasonic irradiation, the dissolution rate of wax was same as in the 65℃diesel. Under conditions of low-frequency vibration,working current of 5A, and the vibration frequency of 400 HZ, paraffin in diesel dissolution rate was 3.7 times as does not deal. The effect of ultrasound is better than low-frequency sound, but the distance is shorter. Sonic antiscaling experiments showed that ultrasound can well inhibit the precipitation of calcium sulfate scale, but the low-frequency sound waves to make it more severe. Finally, according to the well site, a sonic vibrations anti-wax device is designed, made a model for a laboratory test. It was found that the vibration on the pipeline for long-term treatment, paraffin can be controlled and it can extend the flushing cycle.
