With the development of automation technology, the automation subsystem produced by different manufacturers with different functions has been widely used in the production of coal mine. Due to the equipment of different manufacturers without a standardized interface, it is easy to cause the data heterogeneity problem in practical application, which makes the driver repeat development and the interface difficult to maintain. Therefore, it has great theoretical significance and practical value to design a middleware system of data monitoring in coal mine based on OPC server to integrate the existing heterogeneous subsystems. The system is designed to solve that the PC configuration software does not support the data collection substation, which is commissioned by the Shanxi coal transportation group science and Technology Research Co. Ltd.In this paper, mainly includes in detail the following:introduction and analysis of the OPC specification and related technology, developed based on OPC DA 3.0 specification and the OPC foundation based interface of OPC DA server middleware system; detailed analysis of the device layer of thecommunication protocol and working mechanism, design and development of device driver; according to the downhole equipment number with the mining,mining the characteristics of the process of dynamic change, combined with the WinCC configuration software and OPC interface and variable specification,design on the data and configuration software dynamic state association mechanism. The main contents are as follows:(1) Firstly, combined with the actual production environment of coal mine and the current situation of coal mine monitoring system, the design demand of the system is analyzed. Then the data access specification of OPC is deeply studied. At the same time, it analyzes the technical characteristics of OPC data access and the application requirements of the OPC program. At last, the design and development of OPC server is designed and developed.(2) Design of communication mechanism between different parts of the system according to the overall design scheme. After acquired by collection substation underground in the coal mine, the data of roof separation indicator,bolt, anchor rope and pillar stress are transferred to the communication master station by ZigBee protocol. Then the data of communication master station are transmitted to the data monitoring middleware system through the Ethernet.After analyzing the received data, the data monitoring middleware system are converted into a standard OPC interface. Finally, the OPC client of PC configuration software obtains the data by accessing the OPC server of the data monitoring middleware system.(3) Different from the general industrial field, coal mining is a dynamic process. With the continuous development of tunneling and mining, the length of the roadway is changed and the number of the field sensor equipment is also changed with the increase of the number first and then decrease. Coal mine data monitoring middleware system uniformly manages data, and regularly names the variables. The status of coal mine sensor can be judged by analyzing the data.And the status is uploaded to the PC in real time so that the monitor screen can dynamically display the whole process of coal mine roadway.Now, the system has been used in Yangcheng Sihou Coal Co. and Sanyuan Wangzhuang Coal Co. mine of Shanxi Coal Transportation and Marketing Group. And the system is running well.
