Transistor inverter welding power source controled by the computer has great value in improving the performance and quality of welding arc welding power source and promoting the application of arc welding robot.In order to study this project, this paper based on the analysis of arc welding technology and welding arc characteristics of the subject,giving its basic requirement,by this way, I make MCS-51 microcontroller as its core,using high-power transistor module to build a half-bridge power conversion circuit,achieving the overall scheme of the welding characteristics constant and steep drop.First, during this process, we take redundant design ideas,by adopting cw3254,successfully avoiding the flying out or the loop.Thus this ensure the reliable work under power conversion circuit.Secondly,in order to enhance the maintainability and reliability of this system,the control center also design the self-test function.Then in the process of the designing of the software,I adopted modular Design,which provides convenience for software debugging and system upgrades.Finally in the control algorithm design,I adopted PID algorithm and applied expanding response curve and trial and error method to get the pid parameter.Experimental results show that with the constant current welding characteristics, the system is continuously adjustable within 0-160 A, the error is±0.1A,and inverter frequency is up to20 Khz. So this system can be a miniaturization of portable welding equipment for people.
