In view of the widespread application of the two-dimensional chromatography, combined with needs of analysis of ethylene plant in Lanzhou Petrochemical Company,this paper studies the principle,constitution and separation techniques of multidimensional chromatography, in this paper, on the basis of the current conditions of the laboratory of chromatography were multidimensional transformation, for optimization of ethylene cracking gas analysis, after the transformation of a good solves the cracking gas analysis requires two sets of equipment. Colleagues for the existing central cutting techniques of multidimensional analysis of the establishment of the application method, and on this basis, the drafting of industry standards. The use of multi dimensional chromatography can be used to analyze the different properties of the sample, which can be used in the process of the analysis of ethylene plant,which has brought great convenience, and optimized the analysis work, which laid the foundation for the stable operation and control of ethylene plant. The experiment in this thesis is worthy to be popularized and applied in the field of chemical industry.
