Mine shaft hoisting system is an important link of coal production system, is a part of the “throat” to contact the ground and underground, so as to ensure its normal operation is particularly important. But workers in unskilled operation and maintenance of misconduct will lead to hoist safety accident in daily operation. At the same time, along with the continuous expansion of colleges and universities and the higher requirement on the safety production of coal mine in recent years, mining college students awareness and production practice of the site has a serious shortage of. At present, due to many limitations of the traditional classroom teaching and the training effect is not good, the security is not high. It has been unable to meet the demand of training of machine operators and practicing of mining colleges students. In view of this situation, the paper focuses on virtual reality technology, human-computer interaction technology and coal mine auxiliary shaft hoisting machine combination, and research and design of virtual reality system for auxiliary shaft hoist in coal mine.The comprehensive utilization of 3D modeling technology, rendering technology, collision detection technology and the embedded technology, the paper develops a set of virtual reality system for auxiliary shaft hoist in coal mine based on the virtual reality technology and the rules for safe operation of hoist, it can be run under the Windows platform. The research contents and achievements can be summarized into the following three parts.1)Using 3D modeling technology to construct the three-dimensional model of from the mouth to the bottom of the shaft, roadway and coal mine auxiliary shaft hoisting system, and texture, material, light and other 3D rendering, create a realistic aground and underground environment for the virtual reality system.2)Application of nonlinear editing technology, 3D engine technology and collision detection technology carries on two times of developments on the scene, the realization of human-computer interaction, multi viewport display, sound simulation and collision detection response function, the implementation of the upper computer of the virtual reality system.3)According to site operation station and signal station, we adopt embedded technology to design the hardware circuit of the operation station and signal station, through the serial communication to realize the control of virtual equipment, give students immersion feeling.The system sets teaching, practice and examination function together. Its software has friendly interface, smooth video, the maneuverability is strong. Its circuit design is reasonable, flexible and reliable operation, strong practicability. It can enhance the training efficiency and security, has very important significance to the safety in production of coal.
