According to the reservoir geological characteristics and the achievements of the early reservoir description, the remaining oil distribution and development countermeasure were studied in the Guan 195 fault block reservoir by use of the methods of reservoir engineering method and reservoir numerical simulation technology. The main oil-bearing layers are ZaoⅣ、Ⅴs and Ⅴx layer groups of Kong 1 section in the Guan 195 fault block reservoir. Through the comprehensive development effect evaluation and analysis of well pattern adaptability, the development effect of ZaoⅤx layer group is the best. The main reasons which influence the development effect are the differences of the reservoir physical properties. Affected by sedimentary environment, the water flooding case is serious along the direction of the mainstream line.Combining the fine reservoir description, reservoir engineering methods and advanced reservoir numerical simulation technology, the remaining oil distribution laws were studied. Guan 195 is a mainly positive rhythm, which lead to the rich oil region at the top of the reservoir and poor oil region at the bottom of the reservoir. The major layers are still the potential layer for residual oil development.Based on the results of fine reservoir description, remaining oil research results, the adjustment plan was made. The four sets of strata are kept for development. Through local well pattern adjustment, the perfection of injection-production well patterns is improved. The water injection experimental of a water injection well group was decided to carry out, and the effective well spacing was determined.
