Relative to the shallow coal mining, deep mining presents some unique features in the deformation of surrounding rock, coal and gas outburst, disaster prevention and governance. These factors affect the coal resources mining, transportation, lifting and ventilation seriously, then make it more difficult to select mining equipments and mining normally. In this paper, take the 4+5 coal seam in Lu’an Yaojiashan mine as the investigate object, using theoretical analysis, setting up the mechanical model and numerical simulation methods, systematic study the feasibility of“The three one-thousand model”in Yaojiashan mine construction. The main work is as follows:(1) Based on the mine pressure theory, predicting the direct roof initial caving step distance and basic roof weighting interval of the 4+5#coal seam; Predicting hydraulic support the reasonable support resistance parameters by the methods of the roof structure estimation; To decorate two fully-mechanized caving faces, each working face of 5 million t/a, to satisfy the requirement of 10 million t/a in Yaojiashan mine. Choosing the main equipments for each working face and verifing equipment capability.(2) Establishing the hydraulic support force model in a inclined plane and analyse its stability, the factors that affect the stability of the hydraulic support are found; Further establishing the hydraulic support force model in double inclined planes and analyse its stability during basic roof weighting for the first time. The following conclusion was obtained: with the increase of coal seam dip angle, the minimum support resistance to prevent the hydraulic support slip and fall in inclined direction and toward direction during basic roof weighting for the first time are approximate linearly increase. The minimum hydraulic support resistance parameters to prevent the hydraulic support slip and fall in inclined direction and toward direction during basic roof weighting for the first time in Yaojiashan mine working face is given.(3) Then FLAC3 D numerical simulation is used to study the the adaptability of the working face hydraulic support during basic roof weighting for the first time. During the first large-scale basic roof weighting, the basic roof failure mode is“O-X”, The hydraulic support force in the middle of the working face are bigger while the hydraulic support force in the sides of the working face are small. The hydraulic support selected can satisfy the support requirements during the basic roof weighting for the first time.(4) After theoretical research and demonstration, the following aspects of Yaojiashan mine were identified: mine skip, belt for transportation alley, the diameter of the shafts and the main ventilator of the mine, to meet the following needs of ten million tons of coal mine in 1km deep well: Mine hoists, transportation and ventilation. According to the ministry of mines and production system requirements, the labor capacity(969) and labor productivity of Yaojiashan mine is calculated.In this paper, a variety of analytical methods are used to analysis and validation the feasibility of“The three one-thousand model”in Yaojiashan mine construction in terms of coal seam occurrence condition, mining discipline theory, the current mining technology and manufacturing equipment capacity. The results show that, “The three one-thousand model” in Yaojiashan mine construction is reasonable and feasible. These research results make certain reference significance for coal deep mining and design in Lu’an Yaojiashan mine.
