| Conventional ring spun yarn has much hairiness which has bad influence on subsequent textile processing. This research is about a new ring spinning method based on triangle optimization. The biggest feature of which is to reduce yarn hairiness and improve breaking strength without the aid of additional energy by using mechanism devices in the main drafting zone and the spinning triangular zone. The main method is to add a pre-gathering device at the main drafting zone, the sliver is arranged by the pre-gathering device after coming out of the holding jaw which is consist of spinning aprons, then it enters the front jaw, after the treatment of gathering device at the spinning triangular zone, the sliver becomes yarn.The research is divided into the following aspects.1ã€Study the theory of this new spinning, look into the mechanism of reducing yarn hairiness and improving breaking strength. In the main drafting zone, sliver is gathered by a collector for the first time, then gathered by a rotating wheel in the spinning triangular zone. Studies have shown that: the first gathering step can control and stabilize the sliver width to prevent scattering of the fibers, and guide the fibers’ movement. The second gathering step helps the fiber sliver to twist at the bottom of the groove, makers sure that the gathering and twisting are under control, and reconstructs the spinning triangle to some extent, so as to achieve the objective of reducing yarn hairiness and improving yarn strength.2ã€Design of the devices of this new spinning. The groove’ shape and process parameters will affect the quality of the yarn, because the gathering and twisting processes are mainly done in the groove. Studies have shown that: in order to achieve a good spinning result, it is important to choose matching grooves for different cotton yarns, the groove’ shape and process parameters vary with the change of cotton yarn, and the sliver’ length of surrounding arc in the groove will also affect the quality of yarn.3ã€Application of this new spinning. Conduct loading tests on ring spinning machine in cotton mill, and test the influence of this new spinning on the quality improvement of cotton spinning and large-scale application.4ã€Improvement of this new spinning. Mechanical method is used in this new spinning to control the sliver and fibers, and it is far from enough. In order to achieve better cotton yarn quality, based on gathering spinning method, it is important to strengthen and stabilize the movements of fiber and sliver in the main drafting zone, and also increase the sliver’ length of surrounding arc in the groove. |
