In recent years, with the rapid development of automobile industry, the tire industry and constantly growing, the rubber industry in promoting economic development at the same time, also brought some environmental problems. Waste tires pyrolysis technology is a kind of technology which is not cause secondary pollution, waste rubber can be completely decomposed into different constituents which are organic component and filler. Decomposeing waste rubber can obtaine solid, liquid, gas three kinds of products under high temperature, which has about 30% of solid particles, called pyrolysis carbon black, and there was a lot of different from industrial carbon black, so this paper mainly discusses the structure characterization and its application of the pyrolysis carbon black in rubber research, by reaching the application of pyrolysis carbon black in rubber in order to provide certain theoretical guidance.First of all,this paper study the particle size, structure and surface activity of pyrolysis carbon black on the micro structure, the results show that the pyrolysis carbon black is a kind of carbon black as the main component, which has a small amount of inorganic filler, and its surface residual traces of incomplete pyrolysis of organic components; The particle size distribution of pyrolysis carbon black is wide, the result show there are points peak phenomenon; BET value in 70-80 m2/g, and its surface has lots of aperture; so it is a kind of complex packing which is low surface activity. With N660 carbon black in the application of the SBR rubber, pyrolysis carbon black is compared, and the performance results show that the characteristics of pyrolysis carbon black can promote scorch time, reinforcing properties and stretch performance of vulcanized rubber are poorer, and its wear-resisting performance is poorer.Secondly, due to the application of the pyrolytic carbon black in rubber is poor performance, I make a series of experiments by changing the mixing process and coupling agent on pyrolysis carbon black by dry process in order to modify pyrolysis carbon black. The results showed that the mixing process can improve the pyrolysis carbon black dispersion in some extent, and improve the interaction between the pyrolysis carbon black particles and rubber macromolecule chain; Through the coupling agent to dry process modification of pyrolysis carbon black, of which 450 activator has good effect, but the improvement is limited, then the price of the activator is higher, thus increasing the modification cost, restricting the application range of pyrolysis carbon black.In order to analysis the influence factors of pyrolysis carbon black, this paper reasearch pyrolysis carbon black ash composition and heat treatment,studying these two factors experiment research and analysis in detail, and applied to the SBR rubber, the last I suppose that the pyrolysis carbon black particles is proposed "sintering model" rather than "nuclear shell model". Results show that the pyrolytic carbon black ash content, divided into Zn O, soluble in hydrochloric acid of compound such as CaO and SiO2 is soluble in hydrofluoric acid, which effect the performance of mixing rubber scorch time,this is mainly because of ZnO, and SiO2 can increase the activity of the pyrolytic carbon black, improve the performance of pyrolysis carbon black; High temperature influence the activity of carbon black, but the impact on the size and structure of small, so in application with SBR, the effect of the mixing rubber and vulcanized rubber is smaller.In practical applications, the use of force the tire sidewall formula, pyrolysis carbon black and white carbon black fill in the rubber, the results show that with the increase of pyrolysis carbon black, the tire rubber compression heat decreases, wear volume increases gradually; Pyrolysis carbon black and white carbon black affect its dispersion property, so the white carbon black/pyrolysis carbon black with ratio of 45/15, compound rubber processing performance is improved, physical and mechanical properties of the vulcanizate are better.
