The ever growing transportation has driven the fast development of modern society.On the other hand,the remark increase induced serious pollution issues to the environment.It is estimated that 1.4 billion units of tires are produced globally every year,and about 800 billion tires are discarded.Tyres are designed to withstand harsh mechanical and weather conditions,so the composites of tyres are complicated and hey are thermoset polymers means that they cannot be melted and separated into their chemical components.There has been great interest in alternative treatment processes to manage the waste tire rubber.Reclamation and pyrolysis are the most common methods to deal with waste tyres,however,there are shortage in these methods.So it is necessary to find a new way to deal with waste tire rubber environmentally and economically.In this paper,in the generation of reclamation and pyrolysis of waste tyres,putting forward the method of light pyrolysis.The aim of this study is to lightly prolyze the waste tyres by using a mild twin-extrusion process and separate the lightly pyrolytic carbon black.Then the mechanism of separation and the application of light pyrolysis rubber are also studied.The main works was discussed as follows.Light pyrolysis carbon black were derived from waste tyres by using a melt-extrusion pyrolysis process at 300 ? from waste tire rubber.A layer of bound rubber was observed on the surface of CBlp after extrusion and solvent extraction process,which is detected by FTIR and TGA.The thickness of the rubber shell is about 7-12 nm.Some functional groups and Zn O were detected by XPS and XRD.The rubber shell improve the dispersion and interactions in the nature rubber.Lightly porolytic carbon black(CBlp)was obtained by using a reactive extrusion process to investigate the separation of CBlp.The rubber shell including primarily of crosslinked rubber and loosely bound rubber could be separated by extrusion at different temperature(260 ?,280? and 300 ?).The structure and chemical composition of rubber shell were analyzed by using TGA,SEM,TEM and XPS.The crosslinked rubber was still preserved in CBlp-260.A layer of loosely bound rubber was observed in the rubber shell of CBlp-280.As for CBlp-300,there was only primary and destroyed loosely bound rubber.At last,after the mechanism of the separation between CBlp and rubber,this paper studied the application of lightly pyrolytic rubber.thermoplastic nature rubber was a family material,which was prepared by blending nature rubber with polyolefin.There are some researches about the liquid nature rubber as a compatiblizer on NR/LLDPE blends.The properties of liquid nature rubber and lightly pyrolytic rubber(Rlp)were same in some extent.So the Rlp was blended with LLDPE directly.The compatibilizer HDPE-g-MAH was added to improve the interaction between the Rlp and LLDPE.The compositions were analyzed by using SEM,TGA,DSC and FTIR.The composites of Rlp-300/LLDPE had the best effect of compounds.
