Detection of buried metal pipeline,which is corrosion by soil for a long time, is the main exploration targets.But,in this field,the conventional detection methods are difficult to meet requirements in order to fully detect the pipes under the condition of non-excavation.So it is difficult to positioning and quantitative research.Most routine detection method is contact,and testing process istrival.In addition,the expensive is hig.Therefore,how to simple and accurate implementation of buried metal pipeline trenchless detection is particularly important.Therefore,a theoretical analysis was performed on the difference between conventional detection method and passive micro magnetic technology.At the same time,what was analyzed about the difference of magnetic field intensity through the area of pipeline with defects or corrosion between that through normal pipeline.On the basis of theoretical,the experiment have carried by changing the vertical distance between the magnetic sensor measurement and pipes.It is found that the relationship between the depth of pipeline and change of the magnetic intensity which through the pipe after a lot of date of experiment are analyzed.Based on the theory of pipeline magnetic field change rule,the test system software is designed through the C#programming language.Design completed the data collection, data analysis and processing and defect recognition and quantitative function.To test and verify the overall performance of combination of hardware and software. Firstlyl,the method about how to judge whether the pipe defects or corrosion exist from the change of the magnetic signal was found under the condition of a certain depth.Secondly, in order to determine the reliability of the detection system, the developed system applied to practical engineering application, and test results are verified through the site excavation.Finally,the conclusion shows,compared with conventional detection methods,the passive micro magnetic technique doesn’t have to artificial magnetize the pipe in advance,which ensure accuracy of detection about defects and the corrosion of buried metal pipeline and realize the detection of 2D imaging in the condition of nonexcavation and normal operation.
