Petroleum refining industry is one of the most important industries in the national economy, the oil has a great impact on any one country. The distillation of crude oil is an important production process in petrochemical enterprises, which is also the leading part in the petrochemical production process. Atmospheric distillation unit is one of the complex and energy consuming processes in the distillation of crude oil, the production level of the equipment directly affects the economic efficiency of the enterprise. Petrochemical enterprises are now facing the problem is how to cultivate a large number of new technical staff, how to make them as soon as possible to be familiar with their jobs and how to improve their practical experience and cooperation ability to operation and management independently. In this paper, based on distillation production process and characteristics, combined with the relevant knowledge of control theory, machinery, instrument, computer and software engineering, a control system of distillation entity simulation training device is designed for petrochemical enterprises and vocational colleges. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:First of all, the development and research status of production training equipment in petrochemical industry are briefly described. On the basis of detailed analysis of atmospheric distillation production process, with Siemens PLC S7-300 as the logic controller and the hardware system of the control system of the atmospheric distillation solid simulation device was designed, including the selection of the main equipment and the design of the control circuit.Secondly, the original PID control algorithm is improved in the electric heating furnace temperature control system of the primary distillation tower. On the basis of fuzzy PID algorithm, A fuzzy PID controller based on genetic algorithm is proposed to optimize the quantization factor and scale factor and the control algorithm were simulated in the MATLAB simulation software, which verify the controller is feasible. Finally using the powerful data processing function of STEP7 completed the real-time control and the real-time data acquisition of the field equipment.Finally, the design of human computer interface is finished. Using Kingview 6.53 for secondary development, through which engineering personnel can directly observe the production process, view information system operation, modify the parameters and so on. By the field test to ensure the normal operation of the system, comparing the Kingview curves and found that fuzzy PID controller is better than PID control,which is more suitable for the control system.
