With the rapid development and applying of flight mechanism in China and foreign countries, the special effects of flight mechanism has become an important part in many movies and stage performances as well as big shows, especially played an important role in the World Expo 2010 opening ceremony and other large stage performances. The research of control system of flight mechanism has become an important research topic. If we can develope a control system of flight mechanism which is technologically advanced and stable and reliable, it will not only bring significant social and economic benefits, but also improve the development of flight mechanism in the stage machinery industry area.1.In this paper, the control system of rail-type flight mechanism is designed to solve the problems such as high human requirement, low safety factor, poor control accuracy and complex operation. System architecture is designed according to the control requirements, the main components are selected, and the security protection is designed.2.The linear interpolation parabola transition planning, and the cubic polynomial interpolation planning, as well as the order polynomial interpolation planning are used on the trajectory planning to safeguard the stability of the movement. The simulation of the circular path and three kinds of planning methods on straight path have been done, to make the acceleration diversification smooth during the movement,as the strenght is consequent, and it is beneficial to keep the movement of the flight mechanism steady.3.The speed closed-loop control system is designed by using the PID controller in the PLC. The simulation of the motion control system in flight mechanism has been done by the Simulink, including the speed dynamic response and the position error of the single-axis control system, and the contour error of the dimensional control system.4.The program of flight mechanism is designed including hardware configuration,the communication of inverter and the process of control program by using PLC as the mian controller. Human-Computer Interaction Platform named as“Flight Mechanism Monitoring Interface” is designed as the surveillance system of the flight mechanism based on the Win CC. The feature of the monitoring interface is simple and safe operation, and can achieve automation completely, and it also can provide a ethod tofind fault and exclude it timely by monitoring the situation of system.
