Recently, with the increasing requirements of the information technology from the sewage treatment enterprises, remote interactive system has become the most important part of the management system in sewage treatment enterprises. This paper presents a suitable optimization for control strategy considering the characteristics of the low quality management and the difficulty in the real time control. With this strategy, sewage treatment enterprises can ensure the quality of purified water and saving energy. Cascade fuzzy control module and troubleshooting module are designed and implemented in the paper to accomplish the assignment of the strategy. This system, information-based management system, which utilizes the database and network technology, also includes equipment management module, power management module, and cost management module. Approved by practice, the level of the management of the sewage treatment can be enhanced and the cost of the enterprise can be reduced by using remote interactive system.Saving energy module and troubleshooting module are the core of this system. The entire system is introduced and the two key modules are analyzed and designed in this paper. The major works are as following.According to the characteristics of dissolved oxygen control of sewage treatment, this paper involves the fuzzy control technology. Based on it, the cascade fuzzy control module is designed by using technologies of PLC,HMI and network. The module can adjust the aeration by detecting CDO values and the concentration of dissolved oxygen on-line; this can not only ensure the quality of purified water, but also save energy and reduce the cost of sewage treatment which also means a new effective and practical engineer approach to the dissolved oxygen control method of sewage treatment is provided.The troubleshooting module including knowledge base, inference engine, and explanation facility is designed and implemented in this paper. In order to deal with the problem during the sewage treatment, based on the combination of artificial intelligence theory(Expert system theory), The functions of making-decision by simulating the human expert's intelligence under the unknown environment are provided by this module; also the efficiency and management level of the sewage treatment are increased. Approved by practice, this module has great value on troubleshooting during the sewage treatment.Through checking and accepting the item which the thesis based on, cascade fuzzy control module and troubleshooting module, designed in this paper are proved to satisfy the clients'requirements in the saving energy and management aspects.
