Diamond wire saw is appeared and developed along with the development of stone mining and processing industry. Compared with other stone mining and processing methods, because of the advantages of small stone material loss, high efficiency in cutting, good quality of stone blocks, wide range of application, convenient installation, low labor costs, less dust, the diamond wire saw technology is widely used in stone mining, the machining of the straight board, special-shaped plate, stone products, etc. It is also widely used in demolition and repairing of concrete steel building, machining on glass and other hard brittle materials. At present, the comprehensive performance of domestic diamond wire saw is close to the international advanced level. The sawing technology, sawing trajectory and sawing mechanism in CNC wire saw cutting are investigated in quantity by scholars at home and abroad, but they all haven’t do accurate measurement and controlling of the wire saw’s bending degree, while excessive bending in saw processing can affect wire saw’s life and surface shape accuracy of deformed plate.Based on this, this paper has the measurement of wheel’s stress state and "saw bending angle" in wire saw processing to be the research target. We design and manufacture a kind of cantilever type radial force sensor to measure the radial direction vertical two-dimensional force of wire saw wheel, and made some researches on the force measuring principle, the relationship between force and saw bending angle, sensor’s steady output control. We design and manufacture a set of measuring system of wire saw bending degree, including its orientation load parts, wire saw tensioning device, vertical feeding unit in forming "saw bending angle", etc.Based on the above force measuring system, this thesis has done some research on the relationship of force on the wheel and wire saw bending angle. We use the radial force sensor to measure the horizontal and vertical force of the wheel, then we can get the wire saw’s bending angle by translation. In order to reduce the error between calculating angle and practical angle, we have analyzed the influence factors and situation of the error.Experimental results show that:(1) Through controlling sensor’s steady output, the sensor can precisely measure the radial direction vertical two-dimensional force of wire saw wheel.(2) The wire saw force measurement platform system can accurately measuring the wire saw bending angle. The error within 5% qualified for the using of meet the requirements of actual use.(3) the small tilt angle of the sensor and the contact state between the wheel with sensor and the wire saw will cause large effect to the angle measuring. With the increasing of the wire saw’s initial tension, the calculating angle will be more and more close to the actual angle.
