At sea, oil-gas resource as one of the most important form of ocean economy, which has already been a major component on our resource support. Now the total length of the oil-gas pipelines which has been paved at our sea field is over 3000 km. There are all kinds of causes resulting in wrecking the pipelines at the seabed. For shaking off the condition that dependant on foreign, realizing to depend on national technology and equipment to fast repair the pipelines. To remain the repair technology and special equipment which has the independent property is image need of our sea oil development. The research are supported by the subproject "underwater special machinery equipments " which belongs to the national "863"project. The aim at it is to research underwater cutting technology of diamond wire saw and developing its engineering prototype which has single or double oil-gas pipelines with different caliber among 6 "~24 " .From above, on the base of introduces the development status of the domestic and foreign underwater task tools, underwater cutting method, the dissertation has proposed the idea of adopting underwater diamond wire saw for cutting the seabed pipelines, supplied underwater diamond wire saw's design object, analysis and design the main moving components, introduced the work theory and technical character of control and detective system.Through the analysis of line saw character and X52 steel's linear process characteristic, it has band the single oil-gas pipes cutting experiment, introduced the grinding theory of diamond string bead, with uniformed design experiment, built the math model of the line saw grind force, analyzed the technological parameter how to influence the grind force, pointed in grinding process of diamond line saw flexible, discontinuous, to adjust technological parameter, control grind force proportion, which can keep well shrewd and cutting character; adopted the responsible cutting technological parameter can control steel tubular cutting face's roughness degree Ra which can reach 3.2μm, and which has no waving and cold-work hardening phenomenon.The dissertation has expatiated line saw's grind mechanism and durability. It has used scanning electron microscope to microobserve string bead diamond particulate placenta, with bead microcosmic detective, given grind character of diamond granular, placenta. Through experiment, it has studied durability of line saw on theory, built the experiment formation with durability rate and feed-rate, linear velocity, pointed that the best condition of keeping line saw durability rate is to keep linear velocity unchanged. Depending on different place of line saw cutting tube face, adjusted feed-rate to realize highest cutting effect. With diamond particulate status statistic analysis in different cutting state, the correctness of conclusion has been proved. At last, it has evaluated the diamond line saw's durability. Which have been introduced above all has given the theoretical basis for searching and improving the diamond line saw prototype engineering, and realizing engineering.Diamond line saw prototype engineering which is specialized for developing oil-gas pipelines' cutting work at sea. Major advantage of it is that it can adapt work environment at sea, it can cut metal material or nonmetal material at the same operation. It wouldn't damage workers or environment. It must on the function of repairing engineer of oil-gas pipelines at sea. It must widen supplication of our diamond line saw technology.
