In recent years, BN nanotubes obtained a great deal of attention. BN nanotubes have higher Young’s modulus, higher thermal conductivity and other characteristics. Especially the field emission characteristics of BN nanotubes at the temperature 600℃ is not affected. Thus the device with BN nanotube films can be used in extreme environments, such as space exploration, cave exploration. However, the preparation of BN nanotube material is faced with low yield, and many other difficulties. Inadequate preparation areas also limits the preparation and properties of BN nanotube film. Currently, it makes great progress in the study about electrical properties of BN nanotubes. However, the study of BN nanotube film has mainly focused on the study of the performance of its composites. Pure BN nanotubes film research lags behind.This thesis mainly studies three aspects: First, prepare BN nanotubes using a catalyst prepared by balling mill, and describe BN nanotubes with SEM, TEM, XRD. Second, research BN nanotubes membrane technology, and determine the best filter parameters, while the completion of the description SEM, TEM characterization of the BN nanotube film. Third, then study the surface properties of BN nanotube film, in this case the hydrophobic properties and the press electrical characteristics. Research done by the contact angle of the hydrophobic nature of the test. And use of semiconductor test to get I-V characteristic curve under different pressures, then analyzes the piezoelectric properties of BN nanotube film. At the same time, we will analysis and calculate the test data based on the theory of thermionic emission characteristics.In this paper, we successfully obtained a BN nanotube film with relatively smooth surface. Studies on BN nanotube film surface characteristics found BN nanotube film not only has piezoelectric properties, but also has obvious piezoresistive properties. In pressure range which the BN nanotube film can withstand, each increases 1mN force, the current increases 5.22nA; each additional 1mN force, the resistance of the BN nanotube film decreases approximately 2KΩ. On the surface of BN nanotube film,the hydrophobic character of the different regional is very different. hydrophobic angle of the edge region is larger 8 degrees than that of the intermediate region.
