| China’s carbon emissions are mainly from industrial sectors. After 30 years of reform and opening up, manufacturing industry in Guangdong Province has obtained the rapid development, for 26 consecutive years ranked first in the country. Along with the rapid development of Guangdong economy, the pressure of energy resource sustainability and environmental protection make the manufacturing industry of Guangdong Province facing severe challenges. Based on this, this paper studies the relationship between carbon emissions and manufacturing development in Guangdong province.According to the carbon emissions of Guangdong province manufacturing division, calculating the carbon emission for each kind of enterprises. With the decoupling model, analysis the manufacturing industry and the development in Guangdong Province, estimates the influence of each variable. Through the Stata analysis software, with the panel data of manufacturing enterprises in Guangdong province from 1998 to 2014, using STIRPAT model on carbon emissions factors research by regression analysis, to find out the influence of different factors.The results showed that the model regression of the risk emission and the secondary risk of manufacturing industry in Guangdong Province are overall significant. Among them, working population, GDP and the technical level has positive influence on the relationship, and GDP is the most significant positive factors. In addition, the influence of enterprises investment in fixed assets, tax is not clear. The result of relatively safe emission manufacturing industry in Guangdong province is that the number of employees, the enterprise GDP,technology, industry tax and carbon emissions has positive effect on carbon emission. The relationship between fixed assets investment and carbon emission is not clear. |
