| Along with the tide of reform and opening-up, while Chinese economic and thetechnology of construction are rapidly increasing, the high-rise residential buildingsare promoted to develop. The high-rise residential buildings are flourished by landsaving. Because of the excessive growth of housing construction, it is gradual appearsthat the style of the facade of high-rise residential is similar and the components arelack of in-depth design. In response to this phenomenon, the paper analyzes thecharacteristics and evolution of the high-rise residential facades. According toinvestigation on the use of components, the paper summed up the design features ofthe various types of components.Firstly, the paper describes the various factors which affect the design ofhigh-rise residential facades components, so that the reasonable basis for high-riseresidential facade component design is provided, which includes: the impact of thephysical environment of the high-rise residential (wind environment, thermalenvironment, acoustic environment); the influence of different flat form, the naturalenvironment and the urban environment to high-rise residential facades components;the promotion of the components structure, materials and techniques which areconstantly updated; the needs satisfaction of aesthetics and psychology; therequirements of energy and national regulations.Secondly, there are four principles which must be fellow in designing fa adecomponents. They are unitarily, economical efficiency, aesthetics and people oriented.Under the guidance of the four principles, the design features of the functional anddecorative components are summed up. For palisade components (exterior walls,windows, balconies, railings), it emphasis on security and attractive appearance; forequipment components (air conditioner outdoor unit shelf), it is important tosupport and shelter the equipment; for energy saving components (active solar panels,sun visors), the focus is on the adaption of local climate and combination with facade;for decorative components (architrave, framework, etc.), it is concerned about theeconomy and aesthetics. On the basis of components characteristics, analyzed fromthe view point of economy, applicability and decorative, this chapter explores thecomponents in-depth design about the chosen of material, scale, and combinationwith fa ade and other details.Thirdly, the organization of all types of facade components consists of the overall composition of the facades of high-rise residential building. Componentsorganizations are deem to be the combination of point, line, surface, body elements.On one hand, the organizations of the various components are organic, which areregularly combined by conforming structural system. Facade components, on theother hand, the variant organization can be used, including the variation of form andtype of organization, as well as other ways of variability.Finally, based on the component design status quo of high-rise residentialbuilding facade, the components tend to informational, intelligent and sustainable. |
