| Since reform and opening-up, our country has been in a rapid development stage ofurbanization. Most of the small towns in this period have no landscape due toover-exploitation and their styles and features have similar trends. So the inherentcharacteristics of towns have suffered serious damage, and the formation of newcharacteristics are not optimistic. In this context, the relationship between "alive" and "life" is almost the same as therelationship between "space" and "place". The former is merely exists as a materialentity level, while the latter contains spiritual connotation which is the sublimation ofthe former. Most of the small mountain towns of Chongqing contain multiple andprofound cultural deposits. Therefore, continuing these cultural characteristics tohighlight the urban landscape, establishing the better relationship between people andthe space environment, and forming a complete, unique urban landscape pattern andshape, are main factors contributed to the study of this article. The traditional cognitive of style modeling stays in the micro representational level, just like style renovation carried out in full swing of the towns at the present stage, while ignoring the basic properties and broad range of styles and features. Thedevelopment of modern urban design theory, which separated from patterns of initialone-sided focus on epidermal morphology and pursuit of pragmatism mode, willconsider more people-oriented, comprehensive study on3D space of city frompsychology, sociology and so on. Based on this, this paper will explore the constructionof system and operating method of Styles and Features Shaping from the point of viewof external spatial perspective of towns. The full text is divided into four chapters:The first chapter discusses the research background, purpose and meaning, status, related concepts, methods and technology roadmap. The second chapter, as a basis for the entire study, firstly parse the connotation ofsmall towns’ styles and features and analyze its evolution mechanism, and thensummarized and combed the theoretical method of external space and city design. Itwill emphasis on spatial differences between "Metropolis" and "small town", so as tobuild the design system of external space of small towns. Finally, associate externalspace design elements and small towns to provide a targeted theoretical basis for thelater design guide System. The third chapter establishes the principle, target of small towns shaping based on styles and features according to theoretical basis the front offers, and discusses thespecific guiding methods, namely strategic part of the thesis. The fourth chapter analyzes design strategies and guide factors of ShiZhu Countystyles and features combining multiple design cases according to guiding method basedon styles and features of small towns. So it compares the commonalities and differencesamong various design schemes through analogy, and then compares them with thedesign guide methods established in this paper in the opposite direction, in order to bemore in line with the solution of local landscape characteristics in ShiZhu County. The fifth chapter is the conclusion of the paper. Firstly, it summarizesachievements and shortcomings of the research and looks forward to the follow-upstudy of the landscape of the mountain small towns. I hope through this study, it canprovide a theoretical and practice help for styles and features shaping of the mountainsmall towns. |
