With the rapid development of railways and the improving continually of thetrain speed, the train traffic safety issues become increasingly prominent andtherefore the detection accuracy of the state of track geometry parameters becomemore stringent, track inspection instrument as a important rail static geometrydetection equipment, it has been widely used in the maintenance and repair of therailway because it was used simply and has high accuracy.Although the track inspection instrument as intelligent testing equipmentgreatly improve the track detection accuracy and labor efficiency. But it still has somemeasurement errors due to the measurement principle or other problems caused bythe environment in the long-term using. Such as, first, maintenance staff must useroad-foot and chord to on-site verification because of the mileage measurementproblems, which greatly affect the efficiency of maintenance and repair of the trackline. Second, severely affected by the temperature gauge measurements, and themeasurement accuracy is low in the circular curve or curved turnouts on shares. Third,same level sensors installed on different track inspection instrument will show adifferent measurement accuracy and level measurement is also affected bytemperature.Mileage measurement errors due to the impact of its mileage wheel susceptibleto debris therefore designed a mileage wheel blade to ensure track inspectioninstrument running mileage wheel is not affected, improve the accuracy of mileagemeasurements. Gauge measurement problems have two as follow; compensate accordthe temperature compensation factor which was calculated by coefficient ofexpansion and experiment, reducing the effect of temperature, increases the stabilityof the measurement gauge, for the problem of false gauge, gauge auxiliary measuringmeans is designed to reduce the measurement error of principle Level measurementprocesses affected by the installation of a level sensor and environment temperature,the temperature compensation reducing the affecting of temperature, improve theaccuracy of level measurement. Theoretically calculate the extent of the impact caused by the tilt sensor installation errors and designed a set of angle adjustmentmechanism to adjust its mounting position, reducing the measurement error caused byinstallation errors.
