This paper describes the important role of the subway in the development of urban masstransit in our country, as well as the rapid development of the domestic subway industry.Metro signal system as the foundation of subway operation efficiently and safely, the coretechnology is mainly controlled by foreign companies, which has brought great difficulties tothe long-term development of our subway industry. Therefore, the research of subway signalsystem is extremely urgent and significant, we need through the research for the foreignmetro signal technology which is currently being widely used in our country, and apply itsadvanced technology to domestic metro signal system.Siemens metro signal system has been widely adopted in metro operation in our country.The paper chooses Siemens CBTC signal system used by the Nanjing Metro Line2,introduces the components, function of the system and the advantages of CBTC signal system,as functional requirements of domestic research. This paper designed a simulation system tothe function simulation of the Siemens CBTC signal system, to achieve the purpose ofverifying the correctness of the findings. First, from the perspective of software system design,introduces the definition, purpose and requirements of the software architecture. And thenmakes the specific scheme for researching Siemens CBTC signal system, which divided thesimulation system into server and client, and specific functional modules. Server providesdata management, network communications, interlock logic, train simulation capabilities, andthe client as an interface for human-computer interaction, showing the status of variouselements of the system and allows users to manipulate. Finally, explain the design andrealization of the client and server.Simulation system development based on Visual Studio2010and WPF frameworkprovided by Microsoft. Finally, shows the simulation results from the operation interface,interlock operation, fault simulation and train running simulation, basically achieved thesimulation of Siemens CBTC system from the software level. By implementing a simulationsystem so as to further deepen the understanding of the system, which is a good referencevalue for developing our metro signal technology.
