Medical industry is closely related to our life. With the development of society andeconomy, the people’s health awareness has improved gradually and their investment in heathis also increasing. Healthcare information technology can not only improve the efficiency ofdoctors, but also brings the patient great benefits. The Telemetry Monitor design program inthis paper comes from the company I had interned, it is one part of the informatizationmonitors system. The Telemetry Monitor is always used for postoperative recovery, and it cancollect the information and data of the patient. This paper will described the design programin three aspects, the pre-analysis of telemetry monitors, the user experience analysis oftelemetry monitors, the design of telemetry monitors and prototype production.Pre-analysis part mainly explained the telemetry monitors from the external environmentand the competitive analysis. External environment analysis from the socio-economicenvironment, market environment and technical environment elaborated the feasibility andnecessity of the telemetry monitors research. Competitive analysis had choose several popularproduct in the market, and from the analysis we had found the main problem of this product.To solve these problems, as well as the previous analysis of the market and technologyopportunities, I developed a telemetry monitor design task instructions.User Experience analysis is mainly divided into three stages: the first stage is to identifythe main target groups of the research, and then gather the data of user requirements throughuser interviews, user observation and task analysis. In the last I collated and analyzed the databased on the three levels of user experience; The second stage is to use the Kano model toclassify the user requirements, and then extract the basic needs, the expected needs andexcited needs; The last stage is to established the model of user needs, and set the productsystem and framework.The telemetry Monitor design is mainly based on the results of user experience analysis,and exchange the user requirements to design requirements. This paper elaborated specificallythe design program form the ergonomic analysis, modeling analysis, product design, theinternal structure and the surface treatment technology. The previous results of userexperience reflected specifically in the throughout product design process, and I alsodescribed how to use the user experience research methods in the product design process.
