Study On Some Problems In Construction Project Contract Management

Construction contract management is a complex and comprehensive systems engineering,which has the highlight outstanding individual differences and involving a wide range. Thesuccess or failure of contract management, will affect the operation of the entire project andthe smooth realization of the ultimate goal. Although China’s construction contractmanagement is now increasing standardization, and the level of management is improving,there is still a gap compared with the international advanced level. This paper, through anumber of case analysis, focuses on several issues in contract management system includingsituation change, reasonable price adjustment, duration of claim and dispute review. Throughresearch, this paper proposes appropriate methods and measures to improve shortcomings incontract management, making the contract paying more attention to the guidiance andstandardization of the market behavior and the balanceof the rights and intrests of thecontractors, promoting the formation of benign trading habits, making contracts moreconvergence with existing laws and other legal texts in order to ensure the applicability of thecontract, and finally plays some reference role in promoting the healthy development ofconstruction market.
