With the rapid development of China’s economic construction,the use of dangerousgoods increasingly wide range,and the dangerous goods transport industry was also rapidlydeveloped. A series of consequent dangerous goods transport vehicles accidents occurredfrequently, such as rollover, collision, leaks and explosions, etc., which brought a series ofsocial and environmental issues, and then endanger public safety and the safety of life andproperty of the people. So build an effective intelligent monitoring system of dangerous goodstransport has very important significance for protect transportation security, strengthening ofdangerous goods transportation management, early warning and rescue incidents.Based on the above background, the paper put forward and designed a kind of intelligentmonitoring system for the transport of dangerous goods based on Internet of things. First ofall, the paper studied the technology of the Internet of things and the operation informationsensing of the traffic factor, then build a vehicle sensing subsystem based on CC2530wirelesssensor nodes and various sensors for monitoring the state of the transport vehicles of transport,such as leaking and burning of dangerous goods, overturning and rollover of vehicles, etc.Secondly, the paper studies the RFID identity identification technology of the traffic factor,3G wireless network transmission technology and ARM embedded technology, then build avehicle terminal subsystem with S5PV210microprocessor as the kernel, and designed thehardware and software of the vehicle terminal subsystem,achieved the function of analysingand processing vehicle state data, alarming and remote data transmission and other functions.Thirdly,the paper designed the database of the remote monitoring center and variousfunctional modules of the monitoring center system software, achieved the main function ofmonitoring status of transport vehicles, early warning, alarm and emergency rescue, etc.Finally, the paper carried on the integration of the hardware and software for the intelligentmonitoring system for the transport of dangerous goods based on Internet of things, thentested the correlation function modules and summarized the test results.Test results show that the system can complete the collection and analysis and processingof a variety of status information during transport of dangerous goods within a very shortperiod of time, and the real-time monitoring of dangerous goods transport process wasimplemented. The application of this system is conducive to improve the pre-control ability todangerous accident and the speed of response of emergency treatment after the accident,thereby enhancing the security of road transport of dangerous goods in some extent.
