Abstract/Summary:
In recent years,with the advancement of industrialization process in China,the amount of dangerous goods transported through road increased rapidly,it results in dangerous goods transportation’s accidents occur frequently and the road transportation safety issues become increasingly prominent.Therefore,it is urgent to make full use of technical measures of information collection and transmission to monitor the state of dangerous goods.According to the characteristics of dangerous goods and the development trend of modern logistics,a real-time online monitoring system for dangerous goods road transportation is designed in this paper,which applies modern information collection technology,communication and other related technologies.This system provides dangerous goods road transportation management a decision on support and improves the efficiency and safety.Firstly,this paper analysises the functional requirements of the system.Next,several core technologies of the real-time online monitoring system are discussed,which contain positioning technology,wireless transmission technology,data encryption technology,fieldbus sensor acquisition technology,radio frequency identification technology and data visualization technology.According to the policies and the actual needs of the monitoring system,the design program of this real-time online monitoring system is proposed.Secondly,details in the design of vehicle terminal which are based on the scheme are specific introduced.One part is the vehicle driving terminal which is designed based on microprocessor LPC2378.The other part is dangerous goods status information collection section,which is designed based on microprocessor Atmega88,Max485 and various types of sensors.Thirdly,the embedded real time operating system is applied as the software platform based on the software functionality and system planning.The vehicle terminal software contains nine tasks,which can achieve the various functions of the system.Next,the data format of the communication between the vehicle terminal and the remote monitoring center is designed and the data encryption is implemented by using DES algorithm,which makes the data transmission more reliable and safer.Finally,the entire real-time online monitoring system is debugged and experimented based on the design of hardware and software platform.The experimental results show that the modules work properly,the system can alert the danger and monitor the entire process of dangerous goods transportation reliably.
