High-rise building as a carrier of city modernization, development is rapid in recentdecades. But with the economic development and people’s life, work, people require the useof high-rise buildings function is increasing, the form of high-rise building structure changesconstantly, optimizing the structure form has become the key of high-level design. The megaframe structure with building the good applicability and high performance, especially suitablefor large space requirements of the high-rise building. The two part time frame main framestructure of mega frame structure is composed of mega beams, columns and the commonbeam, column consisting of common composition, the structure mechanical characteristics ofclear, good integrity, can be used to satisfy the various requirement of architectural function.Mega frame can also form and multiple structure adding layer combination and is suitable forold buildings. At present, domestic and foreign scholars on the mega frame structure systemhas certain research, but it is not perfect, this paper carries on a research on the seismicperformance of mega frame structure.This paper mainly through the finite element analysis software SAP2000, built a24storyreinforced concrete mega frame structure model, the dynamic characteristics of mega framestructure, the natural vibration period of mega frame structure, the mega frame structure of theresponse spectrum analysis, and according to the geological environment, selection of thedifferent seismic waves, are analysis of structure by using the method of time history analysis,get the floor side of mega frame structure shift, inter story displacement and story shear.Through the modal SAP2000analysis software to get the natural vibration period ofmega frame structure, cycle than meets the specification of the structure layout. Structuremodel under frequent earthquake and rare earthquake under the maximum layer displacementangle can meet the specification limits. Under rare earthquake, structure model are firstly atthe end of the beam plastic hinge, then the column hinge, satisfy the seismic code "strongcolumn and weak beam" requirements.
