| Road is the carrier while the vehicle is moving. The road slip resistance is themain index to evaluate the road performance and is mainly represented by the roadslip resistance test. The friction characteristics between the road and tires are of greatimportance to the vehicle’s safety, comfort and economy. The analysis of the frictioncharacteristics between the road and the tires are the key point to study the vehicledynamics. As the characteristics of road slip resistance is mainly to evaluate the roadperformance, and the connection to the friction characteristic between the road andtires is needed to study the vehicle’s driving performance. For this reason, the study oftransformation of tire/road friction characteristics which is based on the road slipresistance test is very necessary.Firstly, slip resistance test is carried out on asphalt pavement through the AW-2Droad friction coefficient test car. After filtering for test data, the sample data of thetire/road friction’s translation is acquired. Secondly,14parameters of the magicformula are analyzed. Through genetic algorithm, the result of slip resistance test isswitched to parameter result of the magic formula, and tire/road friction result iscalculated through the above parameters. Thirdly, Parameter results are used toestablish tire properties file, the properties file is imported to tire test bench and theparameters of the test bench are setup, the dynamic simulation is carried outfor simulating the test process of the test car, and the contrast between simulationresults and test results is done. The results show that the average error betweensimulation results and test results is less than6.0%, and proves that the simulation oftire test bench can accurately simulate the test process of test car, and reflects thecalculated parameters in the magic formula is right, shows that the transformation oftire/road friction characteristics based on the road slip resistance result is accurate. |
