This paper introduces the development process of electro-hydraulic proportional valve technology and its outlook. Firstly, the author introduces the hydraulic system and electrical system of the experiment platform in detail, derives the transfer function of the electro-hydraulic proportional valve-controlled motor system.Secondly, the author designs the identification experiment of the electro-hydraulic proportional valve-controlled motor system, then conducts it on the experiment platform of Chang’an University. In the experiment:the1250frequency response analyzer provides sinusoidal input signal and records the output signal at the same time. Then a curve fitting with the input and ouput data is made to obtain the transfer function, some measures are proposed to improve the system performance.Thirdly, the author introduce the components of the loading part. In AMESim workspace, the author selects corresponding model for every component of the constant power control system,sets the parameters of the simulation model with the identificati-on experiment results and the official information.Then, an AMESim/Simulink co-simulation of the constant power control system is conducted. After the analysis of the si-mulation results, a conclusion is drawed that the Neural Network PID Controller is better to improve the performance of the system.
