High-rise Residential Elevator Noise Subjective And Objective Consistency Of Quantitative Research

Since the19th century, high-rise building grows quickly in each place. The elevator isthe inevitable outcome of high-rise buildings, also it is an indispensable tool for verticaltransportation. The elevator plays an important role for people’s life. Elevator applicationsimprove with the increasing of high-rise buildings, but elevator noise pollution has become anincreasingly serious problem. With the development of economy and science technology,people increasingly higher demands on quality for life, so there is an urgent need to developthe technology of elevator and indoor environmental quality standards. As one of thearchitectural equipments elevator mainly make for low-frequency noise. Although ourresearch in this area had a breakthrough, but the specification of low frequency noise is notuniform, the elevator noise standard is still unclear. The elevator noise still obstruct ournormal life, the key of elevator noise is how to define the noise is exceed standard. To solvethe problem of indoor acoustic environment to provide people with good and comfortableliving environment, it is necessary to analyze the relevant standards, summary, elevator noiseevaluation criteria applicable to explore and make recommendations on the elevator noiseevaluation.This is good for study of elevator noise features, explore noise evaluation methods suitedto our national conditions. Also it has considerable practical significance and reference valueto improve our Code for design of sound insulation of civil buildings GB50118-2010. Thisarticle mainly based on field tests, the noise in high-rise elevators had been recorded. Thensubjective evaluation and analysis, found that some elevators although has satisfied the Codefor design of sound insulation of civil buildings standard appraisal request, but people stillcan feel the noise the puzzle. For this, the paper analyzes the characteristic of the elevatornoise, point out the elevator noise main performance and impact to human is low frequencynoise and analysis of indicators and evaluation methods indoor sound environmentalassessment. The innovation of this article is point out that the problem of high-rise building interiorelevator noise objective and subjective inconsistency. Proposed the noise evaluation ofelevator noise which satisfy the objective and subjective consistency, noting that theapplicable standards of noise problems caused by elevator.
