| Cement concrete pavements, with many advantages such as high strength, goodstability, good durability and long life, have gradually received more and moreattention in the development of traffic construction. Pavement roughness, one of theimportant indicators to measure pavement quality, is affected by a variety of factorsthat exist throughout the cement concrete pavements. From the initial survey, designof cement concrete pavement to their construction, maintenance in the later period,each link has a certain degree of influence on flatness, which exposes a high difficultyto the control of road surface roughness. All these may exert influences on the drivingspeed, comfort and stability of automobiles on them. Based on above considerations,this paper, choose Inner Mongolia Zhun Xing overloading cement highway as asample, combines engineering practice with the related test to study the smoothnesscontrol of cement concrete pavements. The main research content is as follows:1. The influencing factors of road roughness are analyzed from the perspectivesof design, productivity level, construction, etc. and also the existing measurementmethods and index of road roughness at home are analyzed comparatively, then thenecessity and feasibility of the analysis of roughness in the hardening process ofcement pavement is proposed, and finally the structure and principle of four-wheelinstrument detecting system are discussed in detail.2. The road roughness testing program in and after the cement concrete pavementhardening is designed, and it is also experimented in the field, then the change of roadroughness is concluded after the analysis and processing of the collected data by usingOrigin software, hereby the concave and convex point or flat beyond the scope isfound out, which can repair the road unevenness in the hardening process in cementconcrete pavement in time, and the desirable effects are achieved. By analyzing thechange of road roughness after pavement hardening and before commissioning canreflect the influence of outer environment on the road longitudinal road roughness.3. The relationships among grassroots, baseline, concrete transportation, installation of concrete material, template, concrete paving process, plaster as well asveneer etc. and the flatness are explored to analyzed their influences on surfaceroughness and the corresponding measures to improve the pavement smoothness areproposed, which provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the concretepavement construction in the future.4. The causes and preventions of common diseases (pitting surface, turned-downedges and cracks) that influence the road roughness are analyzed, and the method ofthe impact of reducing and eliminating those three diseases on road roughness is putforward. |
