The long-span prestressed concrete continuous rigid frame bridge with high-rise piers isin wide use in western regions for its bright alignment design, construction convenience,high strength, and strong spanning ability and the regions’ land feature and landformconditions.In this paper, with reference to the construction of the Black TigerBridge(58+105+58), a Midas/Civil based construction simulation model is built. In thefollowing analysis and calculation, the computational scheme and values of variousparameters are carefully selected to reflect the actual construction process of the bridge, witha view of obtaining more accurate simulated results. The main work done is as follows:Firstly, it reviews the study on the present situation and future of the continuous rigidframe bridge at home and abroad, analyzes the forces exerted on the long span continuousrigid frame bridge with high-rise piers,points out the necessity of construction control inbridge construction and give a brief introduction to the present study of the rigid frame bridgeconstruction control at home and abroad.Secondly, this paper explains the basic theory of the cantilever construction control inthe prestressed concrete continuous rigid frame bridge,the basic process of the constructionmonitoring and the specific contents of the construction control,and focuses on the analysisof the main factors influencing the construction control of the continuous rigid frame bridge.Thirdly,a construction simulation analysis model is built with with the bridge structurefinite element analysis software Midas/Civil. For the two joint schemes, their calculationresults are comparatively analyzed mainly from the internal force of dead load, deflectionand stress three aspects, thus determining the final and reasonable construction scheme.Finally, based on the analysis of computational model, it conducts the sensitivityanalysis on the bridge’s main parameters, and focuses on the related parametric deviation’sinfluence on the structure’s deflection and stress in and after the construction process.According to the degree of the influence, it identifies the main influence parameters and thesecondary influence parameters, and summarizes the regular pattern and comes to aconclusion which can be used for reference in the design and construction of similar bridges.
