With the rapid development of modernization construction in China, many highways, urbanoverpasses and viaduct were built. And people has higher requirement for road traffic. But innorth area of our country, the phe nomenon of icy roads were always appear, which seriouslyaffected the normal operation of the vehicle, even brought a larger impact to nationaleconomy and people’s life.At present, deicing chemicals were used for pavement deicing inmost of the north provinces of China. Although the method of deicing is lower and direct, butit can cause road surface drainage pipeline corrosion and erosion damage, steel corrosion, soilecological environmental damage, and has anti icing phenomenon.Aiming at a series of environmental problems caused by deicing chemicals, electric heatingtechnology for pavement deicing gets more attention, because of its fast, and environmentallyfriendly. Carbon fiber heating wire buried in concrete slab is a good way in this category. Byindoor heating test, the influence factors of heating rate are analyzed and determined. Thesefactors including buried depth and layout spacing of fibers, input current, environmenttemperature, and the material of overlying layer on fibers. Then establish Ans ys thermalmodel, meanwhile the thermal analysis parameter are determined by the simulation of theactual data of the heating test. The end concrete pavement heating effect is simulated underdifferent environmental conditions, and the results show that this technology is advisable fordeicing under some condition. In the process of heating, the temperature stress of concrete pavement structure iscalculated by using Ans ys software, and the optimum range of input current was determinedin different conditions.Based on analysis of indoor heating test results, and ultimately the CFHW buried depth is3cm, layout spacing is10cm, concrete slab of pavement power is487.5W/m2. Then, theconstruction technology and economy are studied through paving test slabs, and verify thiswarming e ffect.
