The annual building energy consumption will cause a lot of wasted energy,and insulation materials plays an important role in energy saving buildings. While traditional organic insulation materials was light and have good insulation properties, but there was a very serious flammable defects. Because of inadequate insulation properties,inorganic insulation also can not meet the requirements of today’s energy-saving building materials. The organic/inorganic composite insulation material combines the advantages of organic and inorganic insulation materials and was expected to overcome their shortcomings, to make the materials both thermal insulation and fire safety.We prepare three kinds of insulation materials:epoxy resin, cement and epoxy/cement composite foam insulation materials. And use Digital Microscope System, universal testing machine to explore the various factors on micro-and macroscopic properties of materials affect with comparing the overall performance of the three materials at last. The results showed that:For epoxy foam insulation materials, the dosage of modified mano-SiO2, foaming agents,polypropylene fibers, dimethyltryptamine and foam molding temperature are important parameters affecting the microscopic and macroscopic properties of this material. This part make the best formula:the amount of modified mano-SiO2:1.0%; foaming optimum dosage was10%; The content of polypropylene fiber was1.0%; The amount of curing agent diethylenetriaminewaslO%and optimum conditions was:temperature70℃. The overall performance of the epoxy foam formulation was:The compressive strength was1.119MPa, the apparent densitywasl18.9Kg/m3, the water absorption wasl.9%; the thermal conductivity was0.043w/m·k, and was a kind of Class B flammable material;For cement foam insulation, because the experiment was carried out by using chemical foam blowing agent Al powder, so the chemical reaction was very rapid. Whether the cement can quickly solidify in order to go with the rate of foam blowing agents was key to make the cement foam insulation materials. Modify the ordinary portland cement and when aluminous cement content was20part, Li2CO3content quality was3part, composite cement has shortest final setting system:12min,22min, closing to the gas bubble stabilization time; making of this composite cement to prepare cement foam insulation, the best ratio of each dosage:Al powder was15%,the content of polypropylene fiber was2.0%, and the best foam molding temperature was65℃. P roperies of cement foam insulation materials were:the compressive strength was0.619MPa, the bulk density was285kg/m3, the water absorption was15.4%, thermal conductivity was0.079w/m-k, and was a kind of Class A non-combustible material;For cement/epoxy composite foam material, we use the prepared composite cement of the third chapter.This chapter identifies the best formula:Proportion of epoxy resin and cement was1:8, the content of Al powder was6%, the amount of polypropylene fibers was1.0%, the content o f silica fume was11%, foam molding temperature was70℃. Properties of composite foam was:the compressive strength was4.822MPa, the bulk density was212.6kg/m3, the water absorptionwas13%, thermal conductivity was0.068w/m·k and was a kind of Class Anon-combustible material;Compared with the poperies of these three insulation materials, we can see composite foam material is lightweight and has a high-strength, it was a kind of Class A non-combustible material, this material can be both thermal insulation and fire safety. Its poperies were significantly better than the cement foam and epoxy foam, so it has a broad prospect market with its low cost.
