Self-elevating offshore wind turbine installation vessel has the advantage ofself-elevating platforms and floating vessels. Nowadays,It is widely used in offshore windfarms. Jack-up control system is an important part of self-elevating offshore wind turbineinstallation vessel, whose performance directly affect the performance of the vessel. Thispaper has combined real situation of the vessels and control requirements, and made someresearch on PLC motion control, data acquisition, human-computer interaction and remotemonitor. The major research contents are as follows:1. Jack-up device and principle of the installation vessel are comprehensively analyzed.According to the demands, this paper has completed the hardware and software design ofthe jack-up control system based on SIMATIC S7-200PLC. And then, we have designed theinteractive interface based on WinCC with the function of monitoring, alarms, configurationsetting.2. In accordance with different requirements of inside and outside vessel networks, wehas built remote monitoring system with the mixed structure of C/S and B/S modulestheory,which has two-clients/one-server as C/S module and web navigator as B/S module.3. This paper has made some research of the real-time and security of remotemonitoring. In order to meet the real-time requirement of remote monitoring, thecombination of FIFO and SP scheduling algorithm has be used, and it reduce network delaytime effectively. At last, we used OPNET software to verify the correctness of the theory. Inaddition, this paper used SSL technology, network control technology, access controltechnology to improve the security of the remote monitoring system.4. At last, prototype system of wind turbine installation vessel has been developed andthe hardware configuration, monitoring system, logical control system, remote monitoringhas been tested. The remote monitoring system could achieve the functions such as controlvessel and legs lifting and dropping, regulation of the vessel balance, display of the systemprocess and fault alarm etc.
