Ship power station is not only a very important subsystem that ensure the smooth sail-ing and the normal operation of the ship, but also the core of the ship power system. It cannot only ensure the continuous power supply of the vessel in the worst environment, alsomaintain high quality of power supply in working changeable condition. Therefore, inaddition to improve the performance of modern ship power station equipment, also improvethe operation of the ship electric management skills and quality. However, the difference ofthe traditional training system and the actual power system is very big, and it requires a lotof investment, affected by the venue, exsits environmental pollution, maintenancesdifficulties, has high risk in some training projects, and many other issues, at the same time,it is impossible to meet the training requirements, make the power station equipment to stoprunning or make accident to train students.This thesis by relying on research project of power plant simulation training system ofJiangsu Province ZhenJiang Watercraft College, put forward the research task of ship powerstation simulation training system that is based on virtual reality technology and has manyadvantages, for example, good economy, good interactive function, high safety and goodvisual effect, high efficiency of the training and so on. With the actual ship power station asthe research background, Conbined with virtual reality technology to explore and study thesimulation training systems of ship power plant. This thesis has a clear engineeringbackground and practical value, and its main content include the following aspects:1. Introduce this topic research background, significance and the related research statusof virtual reality technology at home and abroad, and put forward content of the mainresearch of this topic and organizational structure.2. The main study is the virtual reality technology, and in-depth analysis its technicalcharacteristics,then eliciting different from other simulation techniques, through comparisonof some main tools that can achieve simulation training system of ship power station, Drawmodeling tools and virtual reality technology development tools of this thesis.3. The structure, operation characteristics and operation requirement of ship powerstation were analyzed, then the mathematical models of main electrical equipment of theship power station are established such as mathematical model of diesel engine, primemover governor, excitation system of adjusting the excitation voltage, synchronous Generat- or excitation system, battery, load and so on, and using MATLAB/Simulink to analyze thesemathematical model.4. Analyze processes of three-dimensional modeling of the power plant equipment andthe main problem should be noticed in modeling, Finally, export the suffix.nmo three-dimensional models.5. The well-established three-dimensional models import virtools platform, and make aseries of modifications to the scene, useing the mouse to drag roaming control BB moduleunder Building Block/Category/Behaviors Name of the platform into the Schematic scripteditor, According to the control logic to connect them, and setting the collision detection ofpower station equipment, realizing that use the keyboard and mouse to roaming of powerplant environment.6. Analyze the simulation training system, create interaction script of ship powerstation equipment base on the platform of virtools, and then set up the ship power stationand its corresponding information database data that is based on SQL Server2000forbridge through ODBC database driver to implement the data sharing and interactionbetween virtools and database platform, program application program of reading andwriting database in the MFC the development environment, in order to realize the databaseinteractions with the MFC. Finally, realizing simulation training system of ship power plantthat is based on the data access, and the teacher computer control students computer.
