The design of air-to-air missile simulation system is a very complicated process, the modeling of each function module often need to be completed by specialists in different areas, then restructure the modules and simulate together. In this way, it will cause some problems such as technical security and compatibility between modules. The distributed simulation technology can solve these problems, it makes the modules simulate together through the network and standardize them, so that the modules are transparent to the outside. This topic will study and design the distributed simulation system of air-to-air missile.In order to realize the distributed design of air-to-air missile simulation system, this article will build the general framework of system based on HLA rules. It was completed by using of Simulink and C++mixed programming technique which can combine the merits of these two language tools. Firstly the system uses Simulink to build each function module of missile, and then convert it to C++code, which can run more efficiently. Then the code was transformed into a member executive based on HLA which can run independently. At last, the system using RTI as the underlying system interactive platform, to achieve the distributed simulation between the members. Through the analysis of the HLA time management service in the process of the design, found that the existing GALT algorithms may lead to message missing and slow progress. To solve these problems, this paper proposed a new adaptive propulsion algorithm which is based on minimum timestamp without lookahead. In the new algorithm, the lookahead scheme was not considered when calculating the minimum timestamp item of output time, and the lookahead of the other items was adjusted dynamically. The new algorithm can avoid the problem of message missing and improve the system advance.Through the test of air-to-air missile distributed simulation, the simulation results show that the members can realize collaborative simulation through network and the system has good stability without large delay. This demonstrates that the design method is correct. In addition, the system can directly modify control parameters of each member code to debug the system, it realized the collaborative design and has a high application value.
