The industry new town takes high and new technology as the leader and modernindustry as the main body, in line with the third industry and the social publicwelfare undertakings. Adhering to the concept of comprehensive development, theindustry new town is fully carried out in accordance with the function of urbanplanning and construction rather than the simple pattern of industrial developmentzone. The overall coordination, structural coordination and operation coordination ofthe industry new town can be ensured with a good spatial layout as a basis, whichthus contributes to the harmonious and sustainable development of the industry newtown. Research on spatial layout, which has certain theoretical and practical guidingsignificance, is helpful to a better grasp of the intrinsic relationships in spacedevelopment of the industry new town.Firstly through the analysis and summary of some related literature and practicalcases in this article, it’s realized that the study of spatial layout of the industry newtown should pay more attention to the following elements: spatial structure plan, landplanning and utilization, public service facilities and comprehensive trafficorganization. Of course, this so-called spatial layout is mostly manifested in thematerial level. To explore the formation of its layout, which can not be separated fromthe guidance in the mental level, involves the analysis of industrial structure and thedevelopment and management policy of the industry new town. And then, the articlemainly studies the Xiang’an High-tech Industrial Zone in Xiamen as an empiricalcase, focused on the contents of its spatial layout and use of land space, together withthe derived public service facilities and comprehensive transportation organizations.Meanwhile, by expounding policy background, current conditions and the planformulation and implementation, we can sum up experience, explore the existingproblems and relevant reference to new town construction experience, discuss thecorresponding optimization strategy, and then come to the conclusion andenlightenment.
