BIM technology throughout the design, construction,operation life-cycle process, it integrates all the information of constructionprojects.But how to get the BIM technology is better adopted by the constructionbusiness, how to get better diffusion in the construction industry, this issues hasbeen studied by a lot of people, the article from the research of BIM technologydiffusion impediments, trying to solve this problem.The article combined research management, economics, technology economicsand knowledge management and other disciplines with literature, comparativeanalysis, quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis method of combining theorywith practice, and the inductive method and other methods, and used relevant theorywith BIM technology diffusion model and technology diffusion theory, summarizedthe various impediments about BIM technology diffusion, and analyzed theimportance of the various factors, with strong theoretical and practical significance.The author used the grounded theory to identify the various impediments aboutBIM technology diffusion, first widely read the home and abroad relevant researchliterature, understand the factors that hinder the diffusion of BIM technology casestudies, second, the author made a depth interviews with relevant personnel on BIMtechnology, according to the research literature, in-depth interviews and China’snational conditions, the various impediments about BIM technology diffusion wereinitially coded; Secondly, on the basis of the initial coding integrate and screeningthe impediments, then made it becoming correlation coding; Finally, madecorrelation coding becoming selective coding. Ultimately got the variousimpediments done saturation experiments, to got the final impediment indicators.The analysis of final BIM technology diffusion impediment indicators by AHPmethod for Yaahp software, we know that the technical categories of factors,operating categories factors, economic categories factors, the legal categoriesfactors and the level indicators below secondary and tertiary index weight, thenanalysis the importance about all levels of indicators, and finally re-identify the keyfactors of various impediments about BIM technology diffusion based on the rightof all levels and provides a reasonable scientific recommendations on the furtherspread of BIM technology.
