Study On Obstacles To The Application Of BIM Technology In Highway Engineering

With the promotion and application of BIM technology,China’s construction field has begun to enter the stage of rapid development of informatization.BIM technology is widely used in the whole life cycle process of engineering project design,construction and operation,and the corresponding project-related information is generated,which is not only conducive to promoting the innovation of engineering construction mode,but also providing effective methods and tools for the transformation of low energy consumption,low pollution,and green and sustainable development in the engineering and construction industry.However,BIM technology has not been fully promoted and applied in highway engineering projects,which has seriously restricted the improvement of the informatization and intelligence level of highway engineering projects and related enterprises.Therefore,the research on the hindering factors in the application of BIM technology in highway engineering projects is particularly urgent and important.In accordance with the project management requirements,this research objectively and comprehensively understands the current application status and problems of BIM technology in highway engineering through the investigation and analysis of the obstacles in the application of BIM technology in highway engineering projects.This paper comprehensively uses the theories of technical economics and statistics to explore the application characteristics and law of BIM technology in highway engineering projects,and uses grounded theory to comprehensively and systematically analyze and study the obstacles to the application of BIM technology in highway engineering.Through the literature review of BIM technology application at home and abroad,the obstacles to the application of BIM technology in domestic and foreign engineering projects are sorted out.Based on the highway engineering practice project,a questionnaire was used to carry out a survey on the application of BIM technology among relevant personnel of highway engineering projects,and the obstacles to the application of BIM technology in highway engineering projects were preliminarily explored.According to the research logic and procedures of grounded theory,the initial coding is carried out for the obstacles to the application of BIM technology;then screening,integration and correlation coding are carried out;then selective coding is carried out according to the correlation coding;and finally the saturation test is carried out.Questionnaire survey method was used to investigate the importance of the hindering factor system,and SPSS software was used to test the reliability and validity of the hindering factor system to verify its scientific and rationality.Using Yaahp software to analyze the system of hindering factors for the application of BIM technology in highway engineering projects,to calculate the weights of factors such as technical factors,talent factors,economic factors,management factors and legal factors,and to analyze the importance of factors at all levels,and then obtain Identify the key factors hindering the application of BIM technology in highway engineering projects.In combination with Pingliang Mianyang National Expressway Project,the empirical research and analysis on the system of obstacles to the application of BIM technology in highway engineering projects are carried out.Based on the actual situation of BIM technology application in this project,the degree of obstacles to various obstacles is systematically analyzed.It is concluded that technical factors and talent factors account for the largest weight and are two key factors in the application of BIM technology in highway engineering projects,Economic factors and management factors have a great hindrance to the application of highway engineering BIM technology.Finally,the corresponding improvement suggestions and improvement measures are proposed from the aspects of BIM technology standard policy formulation,practical application and relevant personnel training,to provide reference and reference for promoting the application of BIM technology in highway engineering projects and even the informatization of highway engineering enterprises.
