Electromechanical integrated spatial sine oscillating tooth drive system is a novelcomplex drive system, in which drive and motor are integrated. The drive has someadvantages such as compact structure, light weight, small volume, high operatingefficiency, and so on. The dissertation focus on electromechanical integrated spatial sineoscillating tooth drive system with large transmission ratio. It’s static and dynamiccharacteristics is studied. The design, processing and testing of the model machine arecompleted. The main results are given as follows:Electromechanical integrated spatial sine oscillating tooth drive system largetransmission ratio is designed, based on the spatial sine oscillating tooth meshing theory.Three dimensional solid model of the drive system is established by utilizingPRO/ENGINEER4.0. Variation in curvature of spatial sine race is analyzed. Theresults show that the3D model is correct. The static equilibrium equations of the drive system are established. The contactforce and contact stress between the oscillating tooth and other parts, as well as the outputtorque are solved. Influences of the structure design parameters on contact force, contactstress and output torque are discussed. The statics, modal vibration and harmonic response characteristics of drive systemare analyzed by the finite element analysis software ANSYS Workbench. Stressdistributions under the external load, natural frequency, mode shapes, dynamic stress anddisplacement frequency responses are presented.Taking Visual Basic6.0programming language and SolidWorks2010as tool, thesecondary development is carried out. A simple, convenient and practical design interfaceis achieved. The parametric modeling of sine oscillating tooth drive system is achieved. The processing, design and experiments of the prototype with large transmission ratioare completed. Transmission efficiency and load characteristics of the prototype aremeasured, which illustrates the theoretical analysis in this paper.
