Optical measurements are always used as an important measuring methods in shootranges’ system due to its advantages of objectivity, non-touch and high-accuracy.Vehicle theodolite and radar are typical optical measurement equipments and can beneatly layed anywhere according to reality. In substance, all these systems are alwaysapplied in long distance based on angle measurement. The results will be bad or evenunbelievable due to small noise during theodolite or radar’s measuring process. Thusthe key is to measure and correct noise effection.Angle measurement can be classified as: angle measurement based on mechanic,angle measurement based on electromagnetic and angle measurement based on optics.Angle measurement based on mechanic and angle measurement based onelectromagnetic has developed for a long time and the technique has been improved alot. But these techniques have a limiting of hard to realize automation. Anglemeasurement based on optics has the advantages of high-accuracy, sensitivity andnon-touch.Measuring based on optics can satisfy the standard of high-precision,high-sensitivity and non-touch. The main methods are autocollimination, anglemeasurement based on internal-reflection effect, laser interference angle measurementsystem. Autocollimination is simple but ponderous. Angle measurement based oninternal-reflection request a high quality for environment and only be adapted for verysmall ranges. The highest precision method is laser interference angle measurementsystem but any small disturber can make a great effction on results, so this method canonly applied as a benchmark.This article presents a method for measurement and modify based on videomatricsby accurately extracting reference points on absolute benchmark and computing3-Dpose. The method has advantages of accuracy, distouching, little cost andadjustable-frequency.This article presents design of modify-system and deeply studies subpixellocalization algorithms, optimization of reference points’ configuration and calibrationmethods. Modify-system’s performance is valid by simulation and experiments, whichis the basis of application.The main work in this article includes:1) Make a research on subpixel methods for different symbols.2) Emphase two methods for angle measurement based on monolar and binocular.Present its basic theory and evaluate its performance through simulations.3) Make a research on absolute measurments for platform-disturb throughbenchmark’s transformation from relativity to absolution. 4) Particularly design modify-system based on monolar and test its accuracy byexperiments. Introduce the application on hull deformation and test its accuracyand validity by experiments.
