The servo system is an important part of the airborne radar, it works in extreme conditions likehigh and low temperature, low pressure, large overload and vibration. Airborne radar servo systemrequires not only fast, stable and accurate angular position control, also requires its small size, lightweight, high reliability. Permanent magnet synchronous motors possess high power density and highreliability features, being able to meet the stringent environmental requirements of the airborne radarservo system. Accordly, the radar permanent magnet synchronous servo motor vector controltechnology is studied in this paper.The contents studied in this paper include:First, the mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous motor in three coordinates areestablished, on the base of coordinate transformation. To meet the servo control system forhigh-precision, wide speed range and fast response performance requirements, vector controlalgorithm is used to realize the decoupling control of permanent magnet synchronous motor torqueand flux. On the comparative analysis of four different current control strategy of vector control, andthe combination of the characteristics of the small inertia of Surface Mounted Permanent MagnetSynchronous Motor Servo System requirements, the rotor field orientation vector control programs isselected.Then three closed-loop (position loop, speed loop and current loop) system simulation modelbased on the rotor field oriented control of id0and space voltage vector pulse width modulation(SVPWM) technique is established in Matlab/Simulink simulation environment and simulation isexecuted, thus verify the correctness of the entire system, and laid the foundation for system softwareand hardware design and experimental analysis.Finally, on the basis of theoretical analysis and simulation experiments, combined with thecharacteristics of the TMS320F2812DSP chip and related software, hardware and software solutionsbased on TMS320F2812digital AC servo system is proposed. The hardware design includes thedesign of the main control circuit, drive protection circuit and the position detection circuit. The mainprogram, interrupt procedures, design ideas of functional subroutine and the flow of software designare introduced in the control software. Experiments are carried out on system platform, and verify thecorrectness and feasibility of the system design.
