In this paper, basing on the cross flow fan flow control technology designed a single rotorhelicopter anti-torque system, compared with the conventional single rotor helicopter in lowaltitude flight, the system can improve the safety of helicopter flight; compared with no tail rotorand helicopter, the system keeps power consumption equivalent at the same time, compared withno tail rotor technology improves the control efficiency. In this paper, taking the McDonnellDouglas MD600N no tail rotor helicopter as a reference type, t the initial model of the cross flowfan flow control technique of rotor anti torque system is presented based on a two-dimensionalmodel, anti-torque system analysis model; at the same time, has established a set based on thesuitable numerical method for novel anti torque system analysis of aerodynamic characteristics ofturbulence N-S equation, feasibility of the anti-torque system is analyzed in the paper; on thisbasis, further analysis of the leaf number, installation angle, import and export angle structureparameters on helicopter in hover and high speed flight of the new anti-torque systemaerodynamic effects, completed the preliminary design of new anti-torque system; according tothe analysis of helicopter flight state the required power of new anti-torque system, and putforward some suggestions on the layout of the system in the end beam and control method. Finally,the design and manufacture of the experimental model, the smoke tests and wind tunnel tests, theanti-torque system principle and some parameters are verified.
