The safety of carrier-based aircraft landing is the key technology for the combat power of aircraftcarrier. In order to improve the safety of landing, the carrier-based aircraft approach landing processwas studied in this paper, has designed the reasonable approach landing route,and designed thenumerical simulation system and the visual simulation system, and then simulation analysis about thewhole process of approach landing was carried out.Firstly, analyzed the carrier-based aircraft approach landing process,and the characteristics andconditions of three approach landing modes; Studied three common approach landing guidancesystems.Also analyzed the factors which influence landing process, divided the whole route into threeparts: waiting routes, approach routes and decline landing routes, and then designed reasonable routesunder this three approach landing ways respectively.Secondly, divided the simulation system into numerical simulation system and visual simulationsystem,and then analyzed the demand for simulation systems,finally according that, has designed theoverall architecture of this two kinds of simulation systems.Thirdly, based on the overall architecture of the simulation systems, the detailed design of thenumerical simulation system was done. Established the mathematical model of carrier-based aircraft,designed the control laws of approach landing, designed the path tracking control algorithm, and formultiple modes in landing phase, a modal conversion technology was proposed. Finally, carried on thewhole process’s numerical simulation. Through the numerical simulation, the feasibility of thenumerical simulation system designed has been verified, moreover, through the simulation data andsimulation curve can better analyze the whole process of carrier-based aircraft approach landing.Finally, on the basis of numerical simulation, a union simulation with FlightGear and Matlab wasdone to complete the design of visual simulation system. Analyzed the working process of the visualsimulation system, and completed the data interface design, realized the design of3D scene and themodel.Finally, the whole process of carrier-based aircraft approach landing in the form of threedimension visual has beenshown. Through this visual simulation system, we can understand the wholeprocess of approach landing more intuitively.The routes of carrier-based aircraft designed in this paper can provide reference for flight trainingof domestic aircraft pilots, and the control system simulation for the whole process in carrier-basedaircraft approach landing is the first time, which provided theoretical guiding significance for the study of carrier-based aircraft and aircraft, also has certain engineering application value.
