With the rapid development of high-rise buildings, frame core tube structural systemwith strengthened story has got more and more applications in engineering.In this paper,combined with the actual project of a steel frame concrete core tube as an example, theseismic response spectrum analysis, elastic time history analysis, elastoplastic analysis ofdynamic is carried out to research the stress characteristics and failure characteristics of thestructure system under seismic load,and the earthquake response analysis results werecompared with the wind vibration response of the structure.Through the response spectrum method, the effect of different connection forms betweensteel frame and concrete core tube and reinforcing layer with different number on thevibration cycle, the lateral displacement and internal force of the structure was analyzed.Itshows that horizontal strengthened layer can improve the stiffness of structure, enhance theeffect of resistance to horizontal force,the structural stiffness,drift, and Internal force aremutation in the reinforcing layer.In the dynamic elastic-plastic analysis, we discusses theplastic response characteristics and seismic performance of structure,it shows that thestructure can meet the requirements for seismic resistance under rare earthquake,seismicperformance of structural is good.Lastly, the analysis of equivalent static wind response and Wind induced vibrationresponse is done. and compared with the results of seismicresponse.
